“Further Regarding the Process of Integrating Technical Design for B3 Waste Storage into the Environmental Approval”
Based on Circular Letters from the Directorate of PLB3 and Non B3 (Number S.112) and the Directorate of PDLUK (Number S.1806), it was stated that a still-valid Temporary Storage Permit (Izin TPS) can be recognized as the Technical Design (Rintek) Document for B3 Waste Storage when the Company wishes to carry out the process of integrating the B3 Storage Rintek into the Environmental Approval.
However, based on some information heard from PSLB3 and PTSP KLHK, it would be advisable for Companies to nonetheless prepare the B3 Waste Storage Rintek document according to the format circulated by the Directorate of PLB3 and Non B3. This applies whether the existing TPS permit is still active or has already expired.
Why? Because some previous B3 Waste TPS permits, which were still under regional authority, were sometimes issued as only a single sheet, and the points explained were not detailed enough to meet the required format.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that companies wishing to carry out the process of integrating the B3 Waste Rintek into their Environmental Approval via the online PTSP KLHK system prepare the document in accordance with the attached format.
