The 6th International Conference on Marine Sciences, titled “Advancing Marine Science for A Sustainable Blue Economy,” was successfully held thanks to the collaboration between PT EOS CONSULTANTS and the Department of Marine Science and Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, IPB University.

The 6th International Conference on Marine Sciences (ICMS 2025) was organized by the Department of Marine Science and Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), IPB University, and was held at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC) Botani Square, Bogor.
The event, which took place on September 17–18, 2025 (not early October), carried the main theme, “Advancing Marine Science for a Sustainable Blue Economy.” This conference served as a crucial forum, gathering hundreds of experts, researchers, academics, and policymakers from both Indonesia and abroad (representing approximately eight countries).
Its primary goals were to strengthen the role of marine science and technology in supporting the implementation of the Blue Economy in Indonesia and to produce science-based policy recommendations to address issues such as measurable fisheries management and marine conservation. The conference was a result of a collaboration with government agencies (KKP) and international institutions.
