Are you a community-led nature-based project looking for support to achieve PV Climate certification?

📢 Applications are now open for Cohort Two of our Project Accelerator Programme. Starting in October, the Accelerator will be run in partnership with Terranomics, with support from The Landscapes and Livelihoods Group LLP, Ekos and Form International.

We strongly encourage you to apply if you (i) are a project migrating from V4 to V5 of the PV Climate Standard, (ii) have submitted a Project Idea Note (PIN) using one of Plan Vivo’s approved methodologies, or (iii) will be able to submit a full draft PIN by the 24th August.

The Accelerator aims to address the barriers to Plan Vivo Climate certification and increase the number of high-quality, community-led carbon projects accessing the Voluntary Carbon Market.

Over the course of the year, projects will work with their Accelerator focal points to:
🖋️ Draft high quality project design documents (PDDs),
💸 Develop detailed financial plans, cash flow forecasts and funding strategies
🎯 Establish robust business models and develop effective marketing campaigns
🤝 Engaged projects will also have the unique opportunity to attend the Accelerator Pitch Day, where projects can showcase investment opportunities to a select group of investors and philanthropic organisations.

By providing a holistic range of support, the Accelerator will fast track projects on their journey to achieving certification under V5 of the PV Climate Standard.

“We are delighted to be continuing our support for the Accelerator, and excited to see the scale up in technical assistance and investment readiness in its second year. We greatly look forward to working with the new cohort to progress their high-integrity, community-focused projects towards implementation, alongside our partners The Landscapes and Livelihoods Group, Ekos and Form International.” Jim Stephenson, Director and Co-Founder at Terranomics.
