As part of Switzerland\u2019s flagship Renewable Energy Skills Development (RESD) programme\u2014funded by SECO Economic Cooperation and Development <\/a>\u2014we were proud to support today\u2019s Agri-PV Conference in partnership with AESI (Asosiasi Energi Surya Indonesia) and Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)<\/a>.

The RESD programme focuses on strengthening vocational education to meet the needs of Indonesia\u2019s growing renewable energy sector. A key objective is to promote knowledge exchange\u2014highlighted at today\u2019s event through in-depth discussions on Agri-PV, a promising solution that combines solar power generation with agriculture. This approach addresses multiple challenges at once: clean energy, food security, and climate resilience.

Opening remarks were delivered by Tessa Nerini, Deputy Head of Political, Economic and Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in Indonesia, who emphasized the value of bilateral cooperation and shared learning to unlock the full potential of Agri-PV in both countries.

<\/a>Prahoro Nurtjahyo<\/a>, Head of the Human Resources Development Agency\u00a0 (BPSDM ESDM) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, underlined that Indonesia\u2019s energy transition must be both technological and human-centered\u2014highlighting the importance of vocational training and innovative solutions like Agri-PV.

The conference featured:

– Swiss best practices from Agroscope<\/a>, showing how solar panels can shield crops while generating clean energy.
– Insights from IPB University<\/a>, showcasing successful land-use integration models.
– ENVELOPS’ contributions, illustrating how digital technologies can optimize Agri-PV systems.
– PLN and ESDM discussing grid integration challenges and policy support.
– PT SMI, sharing innovative financing mechanisms to scale Agri-PV adoption across Indonesia.

This event served as a dynamic platform for mutual learning, promoting dialogue on renewable energy solutions and deepening Switzerland\u2013Indonesia cooperation in sustainable development.
